***Update 29th June*** Meet at Charlton Station (postcode SE7 7QT). Walk takes us from Thames Barrier via Maryon Wilson Park and Oxleas Wood to Middle Park. Pub stop and coffee stop. Nearest station to Middle Park is Blackheath. 1 The best station to go to for trains to Charlton is London Bridge where there are frequent trains. Trains arriving at Charlton before 10.30 are: 9.48 arriving at 10.05, 10.01 arriving at 10.16 and 10.06 arriving at 10.25. PLEASE CHECK THE ELECTRONIC NOTICEBOARD. 2 I would advise using the toilets at Charlton station as facilities are limited on the first part of the walk 3 Lunch stop will be at Severndroog Castle in Oxleas Wood and pub stop in Falconwood 4 The walk ends just outside of Middle Park where a bus will be needed for the nearest station. Buses are frequent. For those who want it there will be a pub stop in Eltham. Buses either go to Mottingham station for those who don't want a pub stop, or Eltham station. Mottingham station is about 5 mins away by bus and trains go into London Bridge station. Eltham station is a short walks from the pub. Trains go into London Bridge or Victoria.
